Month End: April & May

Hello, everyone! April and May went by so quickly for me! I have felt like I’ve been caught in a whirlwind lately from studying for final exams, packing up to move back home, celebrating my brother’s graduation, starting my summer job in marketing, and beginning my summer classes… but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’ve always enjoyed the feeling of a jam-packed schedule that keeps me moving. Anywho, let’s get started with my monthly recap!

I can’t begin the month end post of April without wishing you all a Happy Belated Easter! If you follow my instagram, then you have already seen this little bunny that I painted for the holiday!

In the middle of April, I took a drive out to Creekside Flower Farm to get a tour of the farm and all the beautiful ranunculus that grow there. You can read all about that trip here!

My best friend Sarah and I took a day trip to Nashville to get some time together before we part ways for the summer. We walked down 12 South, popped into Draper James, and ate breakfast at Five Daughters Bakery.

My one request was to stop by the Mall at Green Hills because the Gal Meets Glam dress collection launched the day before  and I just had to try on some dresses. I tried on the Ellie, Yvonne, and Evelyn dresses and fell in love! They are just so well made and intricately designed.

At the beginning of May, my older brother graduated from the University of Memphis! Go Tigers!

While in Memphis, we went site seeing! The picture of the flamingoes are from the Memphis Zoo and the picture of me and the rhododendrons is from the Dixon Gallery and Gardens. Two of my favorite Memphis sites! (Not pictured: the cookies and cupcakes from Whimsy Cookie and Muddy’s Bake Shop)

From Memphis, my mom and I drove back home where I now take summer classes, work part-time in marketing, and tend to all my flowers growing in our garden. Happy Summer, everyone!
