Month End: March

Hello, everyone! There are so many things I love about March… I could just go on and on for paragraphs about my love for this month. Instead, I’ll show you in pictures the reasons I love it and what went on.

Picked up a small Bud Floral bouqet from a local grocery store and decided to do a impromptu shoot with my new glasses (here) and utility jacket.

I began selling my work in local shops this month! You can read all about the inspiration for this painting here.

For spring break, Logan and I met my mom in Charleston, South Carolina and I couldn’t stop smiling the entire way there. It was a dream! Charleston was surpassed all my expectations and I cannot wait to go back. More pictures to come.. 🙂

The rest of spring break was spent at home with my favorite furry friend hiding from the snow indoors. I was able to catch up on some reading and tons of movies.

My friends came to town for some much needed girl time. We stayed at the cutest and coziest Airbnb up in the mountains. It was so good catching up after not seeing some of them for over a year!

On March 27th, I celebrated twenty years of life!! The day was full of so many surprises from the time I woke to the time I went to sleep. Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! I felt so, so loved.

Before I go on a road trip, I always like to have a special treat to eat during the drive. It could be as easy as a couple of oranges or some swedish fish. When I went back home for Christmas break, I made some peppermint bark for the road. In the spirit of spring, I decided to whip up these funfetti blondies from Elisabeth and Butter.

During Easter break, I had a first! This was the first fish I have ever caught. Logan and I have gone fishing many times before, but we’ve had no luck. I lost count of how many brim I caught, but I did catch one 8.5 lb catfish. (ack!) It was so heavy!

See ya next month!
