The other day I discovered how easy it is to make whipped cream. You literally take heavy whipping cream and whip it. That’s it. I had no idea it was so simple! I also questioned why people don’t do it more often because it tastes so much better because the cream is so much thicker and richer.
For my whipped cream, I poured about 1/3 a cup of heavy whipping cream in a bowl with a tablespoon of granulated sugar and 1/2 a teaspoon of vanilla extract. I whipped it on a medium speed for about 3-5 minutes with an electric mixer. Then, voila! I had a perfectly whipped, whipped cream for coffee, hot chocolate, strawberry pie, you name it.
