My Top 3 Products for Oily Skin

Around the age of twelve I started getting major oily skin problems, and as I got older, it progressively got worse.  There are so many tips and remedies on the internet about treating dry, flaky skin but barely any for greasy skin it seems. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure my greasiness will be a treat when the anti-aging benefit kicks in, but the gross, dewy feeling at the end of the day gets real old.

I’ve found three products that have really helped me this humid summer in my fight against oily skin. I hope you that when you buy them you appreciate them as much as I do. Let’s get started!

The first thing I do, morning and night, is wash my face off with a charcoal bar. I always buy two at the store, one for the shower and one for the sink. Charcoal soap works wonders for oily skin.

I don’t have a particular store I buy my charcoal soap from; I just grab some whenever I can find it. Most soap companies have it available, but if they don’t, Whole Foods typically has some in stock.

Just wash, rinse, repeat if you love it that much.

The next product is this Pure-Clay Mask Purify & Mattify Treatment Mask by L’Oréal Paris.

All you do is apply an even layer to freshly washed, dry skin, leave on for 10-15 minutes, and then rinse. This may sting a bit when you first put it on, but just know that it’s working!

Make sure to keep this mask away from the eyes and lips.

This mask unclogs pores and removes impurities from the skin while reducing excess shine.

It hardens quickly and is dry to the touch.

For best results use three times a week.

The last product is this Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector by BECCA.

Apply to problematic areas before or after your makeup routine. It instantly mattifies your skin leaving you a clean and crisp start to your day.

I use this every morning before my face makeup because I find that it works best that way.
