Generally, a fruit pizza has a variety of fruit fashioned in a geometric pattern, but I enjoy mine with a few of my favorite fruits scattered around on the sugar cookie.
For this recipe, you will need:
1 pre-made sugar cookie roll (you can also make your own with healthier ingredients.)
1/2-1 cup of strawberry yogurt
Your choice of fruit such as, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi
1-2 drops of pink food coloring (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and flatten cookie dough on a non-stick pizza pan. Place in oven for 10-13 minutes depending on the oven.
- After it’s done cooling, spread yogurt just as you would pizza sauce. (You can also sprinkle coconut to symbolize cheese.)
- Cut and place fruits however you want.
- Serve or chill in the fridge to serve later. That’s it!
Tip: to make the yogurt a little bit thicker and creamier, my mother sometimes mixes in cream cheese.
