Summertime Fruit Pizza

Generally, a fruit pizza has a variety of fruit fashioned in a geometric pattern, but I enjoy mine with a few of my favorite fruits scattered around on the sugar cookie.

For this recipe, you will need:

1 pre-made sugar cookie roll (you can also make your own with healthier ingredients.)

1/2-1 cup of strawberry yogurt

Your choice of fruit such as, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi

1-2 drops of pink food coloring (optional) 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and  flatten cookie dough on a non-stick pizza pan. Place in oven for 10-13 minutes depending on the oven.
  2. After it’s done cooling, spread yogurt just as you would pizza sauce. (You can also sprinkle coconut to symbolize cheese.)
  3. Cut and place fruits however you want.
  4. Serve or chill in the fridge to serve later. That’s it!

Tip: to make the yogurt a little bit thicker and creamier, my mother sometimes mixes in cream cheese.
